[미국로스쿨 다이어리] 2012년 5월2일 묵상

묵상: 역대상 4:1-43

신실하신 하나님, 하나님의 일을 쉬지 않으시고 계획하시며 이끄시는 하나님,

그런 주님을 온전히 의지하지 못해던 저를 용서하여 주시옵소서.

내가 처한 상황, 가진 것들이 보잘 것 없어 보이는 조건들을 보며

그저 좌절하고 포기하고자 했던 저를 바라봅니다.

비록 부족하지만, 가장 미약했던 시므온 지파를 통해

하나님의 일을 하신 것 처럼,

저 또한 나아가는 그 과정위에,

그리고 그 결과 또한 이 세상에서 보이는 것들, 욕심이 아니라

하나님 나라 확장에 쓰임받게 하시고자 하시는 줄 믿고 감사드립니다.

명예, 권력, 물질로 이 세상 부요하게 사는 것이 아니라,

하나님 나라, 천국에 들어가 주님 앞에 당당히 설 수 있게 되길 원합니다.

야베스와 같은 신뢰, 믿음을 제게도 부어주시옵소서.

그리고 주님께서 저를 통해 하시고자 하는 것이 무엇인지

바로 알게 성령님이서 인도하소서.

저의 매 순간 매일같이 감찰하시며

인도하시는 주님께 찬양과 영광을 돌립니다.

예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.

Faithful God who tirelessly plans on and guides me on the righteous way, forgive me for not relying on you truly. I see myself frustrated with the circumstances where I am in and the unnoted conditions that I have. Although insufficient, as you worked your work through Simeon's who were the weakest family among the tribe, I give thanks to the Lord with all my heart that I will be used for the expansion of God's world by you, yourself, on each step and on the result of it, which cannot be seen in this world. I want to enter heaven and stand in front of you in confidence, not just living the world with power, reputation, and money. Please pour on me the faith and belief like the one Jabez had.And please Holy Spirit, lead us to know what God wants to do through me.I praise and ascribe the glory to the Lord. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
